Fantastic on my old English cello

Speaking to friends, it seems that those with older instruments love these strings and those with modern instruments, not so much. I remember trying these on my modern Italian previous cello and didn’t think much of them but they really make my current old English cello sing. Vibrant top two strings but still with enough warmth, lower two strings feel flexible and powerful.

Auf meinem Cello ein sehr ausgewogen klingender Saitensatz. Der Obertonreichtum nimmt von der A -Saite abwärts gehend immer mehr zu bis zur hammer knackig, klar und durchsetzungsfähig klingenden C - Saite. Beim Spielen ist daher der Wechsel auf eine nächsthöhere Saite kaum zu hören, während er vorher immer durch zunehmende Schärfe auffiel. Ich hatte vorher zuletzt Evah Pirazzi Gold drauf, werde definitiv nicht zurückwechseln. Bin ambitionierter "Dillettant" und Laienorchesterspieler.
Nur wer Saiten sucht, die das Cello im Bass wärmer klingen lassen, wird mit diesem Satz vielleicht nicht glücklich.
