Asiatische Instrumente sind aber so gut wie immer metrisch, also können da die Löcher etwas zu klein sein.
Für meinen Squier Jazzbass habe ich also eine original Fender Kontrollplatte verwendet. Zudem benötigen die dickeren, zölligen Potiachsen spezielle Potiknöpfe, nicht nur zöllig, sondern auch mit einer seitlichen Schraube zum festsetzen.
Die Funktion ist top: Potis laufen sahnig und haben eine perfekte Charakteristik. Das Tonpoti funktioniert wunderbar.
Absolute Empfehlung zum Upgrade von günstigeren Fernostinstrumenten.
Bei USA Fendern gibt es m.E. keine große Verbesserung.
