Great E string, nice clean tone.

After years of dealing with the dreaded Dominant E, I decided to find a better replacement. Forums suggested Jargar Forte E, Goldbrokat or Hill.

I ended my journey abruptly with the Jargar Forte, Straight out of the packet it was great sounding. It broke in very quickly and has excellent tuning stabilility. It pairs very well with the Dominant G,D and A I have. Their isn't an obvious 'break' when crossing from the Dominant A to the Jargar E; the timbres of the different strings blend very well.

The higher tension string on my violin gives me more projection, and a nice tone without being overly bright.

I have had the string on for about 2 months now and it still sounds as good as when I put it on.

Schöner Klang, kurze Lebensdauer

Der Klang dieser Saite ist sehr schön ausgewogen, klar und fokussiert auch in hohen Lagen. Allerdings begann die Saite schon nach einer Woche Rost anzusetzen. Zwar sind blanke E-Saiten sehr empfindlich gegenüber Handschweiss, im Vergleich zu anderen Herstellern war die Lebensdauer aber sehr kurz.

Richtig voller und kräftiger Klang

Ich freue mich sehr, dass ich für meine Geige die beste Saite gefunden habe. Ich habe eine morderne(1901) italienische Geige, passt die Saite meiner Geige perfekt. Da bin ich ja total zufrieden. Also ist der Klang wirklich brillant und laut, vorzüglich an hohe Lage klingt sehr klar mit Fokus. Ich glaube das die Saite ist ja für Solist. Aber nur Vorsicht mit einem häufigen "Whistling", deshalb gebe ich für Sound 4 Sterne. Sonst ist alles prima und sehr empfehlenswert!
