Ne ho acquistate diverse pelli per cassa ma questa le batte tutte. Bassi profondi, attacco definito...la consiglio!

The bass drum head double layer often have a nice dark tone, this monolayer also does it but for me it has an even more defined attack. Then if you think it can last less you can put head protection

Good for rock and metal

This is the perfect head for metal and rock drumming in my opinion. A good firm double ply head with internal muffling ring that is solid enough to give a good rebound while at the same time having a very lose tuning to get that fat low end. Stick a mic inside (preferably a Audix D6) and you are good to go! Normally includes a falam patch which is needed if you play with plastic beater on your pedal (otherwise the head will not last very long)... I usually combine this with a Powerstroke 3 front head with a 3" hole.

Schöner Kick für Rockdrumming

Das Evans 22" EQ4 Clear Bassdrumfell wurde für meine Studioaufnahmen im Februar aus reiner Neugier verwendet. Nachdem ich Jahre lang das Powerstroke 3 von Remo gespielt hatte, wollte ich mich vom Sound mal neu Orientieren.
Was mir schon zu beginn aufgefallen war, nachdem ich das Fell stimmte, das es gerade im Lowtuningsektor ordentlich Kick nach vorne raus gibt. Ich benutzte dieses Fell in Verbindung mit dem Evans Doublebass Fallam um das Fell etwas zu schonen, und eine Nuance tiefer zu kommen.
Man kann also durchaus sagen für die Rockschiene und alles was noch härter ist, ist dieses Fell einfach das Optimum.
Sound und Verarbeitung sind im übrigen sehr zufriedenstellend, ich spiele das Fell nun Seit über 7 Monaten im häufigen Livebetrieb, und merke noch nicht viel unterschied. Einfach TOP!
