Amazing kick head!

I use this head on my Tama club jam, a kit that I bought for home practise. I replaced the stock head with this and it sounds amazing for a smaller kick.

The sound is quite versatile, suiting rock, funk, pop and anything in between. The foam dampeners also allow you to customise how much dampening you want, which is great. I found the smaller dampener worked best as it didn't deaden the sound too much.

Overall a fantastic head, definitely recommended!

My 18” bass drum now sounds like a 22”.

My millennium 18” BD now sounds like a bad ass 22”. These EMADS are the best treat to your smaller bass drums. The clear version is my personal fav.

I use Evans exclusively. The EMADs are perfect
for that solid 'thud' that makes people say
"great bass drum sound"

Neues Set, neues Glück - eigentlich wollte ich das (bei mir bisher bewährte) EQ-Pad zur Dämpfung der Bassdrum dazukaufen; Euer Mitarbeiter hat mich aber glücklicherweise auf dieses Fell hingewiesen - ich bin bisher reiner REMO-User gewesen; aber ich muss sagen, dass EMAD-System überzeugt mich total.
Ein fetter Punch, klarer Attack, wenig Sustain, aber nix vermatscht, sondern klar ortbar - die Bassdrum klingt wesentlich fetter als ihre 'schmalen' 18" - und das nurmit dem dünneren Dämpfungsring des Systems; wer seinen Kicksound extrem trocken mag, ohne jegliches Sustain, wird mit dem dickeren Ring wahrscheinlich glücklicher.
Über Haltbarkeit kann ich jetzt natürlich noch nichts sagen, aber das System ist ja auch erschwinglich. Klare Empfehlung!
