E' la mia prima LTD, è stato amore a prima vista, è leggera, settata perfettamente, già intonata all'arrivo. Un settaggio così preciso l'ho visto solo su questa Ltd e sulle Gretsch, sulle Fender e sulle Gibson ho sempre dovuto rifare il settaggio. Ho una Gibson les paul che adoro ma a causa del peso esagerato resta spesso nella custodia, questa invece è maneggevole come una strato e bella come una LP. Non avevo mai provato tastiere con questo raggio e questi tasti, risulta molto veloce e precisa. Il corpo è meno spesso di una lp ed ha un favoloso belly cut che la rende ancora più comoda. Se avete dubbi, fateli sparire.

After nearly 1 year use - Updated rating

I have played this for nearly a year now and here is the final review for it:

Pros:
-It sounds very much like Metallica. assuming you buy this because you are a fan, you won't be disappointed. the pickups and the sound of this guitar is absolutely fantastic. consistently fantastic. and it is versatile, you can get a lot more out of it than just signature JH sound.
-It looks awesome, its different than most other guitars with the raised metal iron cross.
-Its light and fast, you can pick it up and play, its easy, its light and it is fast.

Cons:
Guitar came with multiple finnish issues, paint job wasn't great around the neck joint and on the neck itself which is a bummer.

Worth saying this has been my first guitar and after this, every other budget guitar i played feels terrible. which isn't great haha.

Amazing quality from LTD. Such a joy to hold and play this one.
The pickups are simply amazing, trust me they are not just for metal ! You can get some amazing clean sounds. Both the neck and bridge pickups are well-balanced, you don't get exaggerated level of frequencies [between low and high] when switching between both.

I ordered from thomann with a service quality check from them, and got the one made in korea. The guitar came in impecabble, I only had to adjust the string action as per my liking which is extremely easy to do on this one.

As per my knowledge, the ltd is also made in indonesia. Mine comes with the ebony fingerboard and the indonesian one might come with macassar ebony, which is more brownish. I would advise you to check with thomann before ordering.

All in all, I am extremely satisfied with this guitar. I owned some budget friendly guitars before this and would encounter all sort of issues, from scratch noises to a uncontrollable variables [difference in sound outputs between pickups, ]. Good gear does make a difference ! Of course, time will tell for this one, but according to various online reviews, everyone seems to satisfied with ltd quality and particular this one.

I am an extremely satisfied owner of the LTD IRON CROSS.

didn't expect anything bad from the hatfil's signature guitar and was quite pleased with the result. the build quality is excellent, the sound is simply killer, the neck is smooth and smooth, the fingers glide perfectly. the guitar itself is just a sweetie; even looking at it is a pleasure, not only playing.
the guitar looks at its worth and is worth its money
