I have tried a few of Dragonfly's beaters which have in common a slightly heavier forward weighted throw feel due in part to the brass retention nuts
they use located on top of each shaft. The suede version has a softish impact and works particularly well on an open tuned Drum. Good to have the choice of textures if you can afford the extra cost.

Wow! Positiv überrascht!

Ich brauche sehr viele verschiedene Soundmöglichkeiten, ob nun harter Rock, Musical, Orchester oder softer Jazz, deshalb habe ich mir gleich mehrere Dragonfly Beater (Suede, Kanvas und den Soft Flannel) bestellt um mich dann eventuell für einen zu entscheiden, hab aber auch damit gerechnet alle wieder zurück zu schicken - allein schon wegen dem Preis. Nun bin ich zu dem Schluss gekommen alle zu behalten... :) Jeder für sich hat einen ganz eigenen Ton, einen eigenen 'Touch' auf der Bassdrum und jeder einzelne gefällt mir so gut, dass es einfach eine Freude ist, auf die Fußmaschine zu treten. Der Preis ist heftig - aber die Verarbeitung ist absolut top(!), sehr sehr solide und ich konnte nach stundenlangem spielen, einigen Gigs und intensives Üben nicht den geringsten Abrieb feststellen.

Mein Fazit: Wenn ihr nicht gerade Metal oder ähnlich harte Stile spielt - probiert sie unbedingt aus!!

Son et sensation ok

Le son est un peu fat, attaque moyenne, et comme la batte s'écrase un tout petit peu c'est confortable au niveau sensation.
Je sens qu'il a moins de poids et d'attaque que le Dragonfly en cuir. Mais c'est un bon compromis.
