Paiste 22" 2002 Ride Cymbal

I am a UK based drummer and owned an old 2002 ride back in the 80's.
I play in New Wave and Ska bands so I needed a cymbal with power that could cut through.
I was pleased to find the new 2002 range and decided to go with the 22" option.
The bell sound cuts through really well, it has a rounded deep note but isn't harsh or tinny - a pleasure to hit.
For a fuller sound a wash can be built easily but is still distinct with good body and warmth, a solid sound.
If you are a hard hitter and need a cymbal that cuts but has warmth and body, I would certainly consider this cymbal very seriously.

AMAZING RIDE FOR TRUE METALHEADS!

Thick and rigid ride with an AMAZING sturdy feel!

It has a controlled sound but it is not dry like a dry-ride.

It's not building up a crazy wall of sound like other heavy rides tend to do. It stays very sturdy with excellent stick definition as you play fast 8th notes or 16th notes. LOVE IT.

Deep and warm tone with great lively top-end, what you would expect from a 2002. Overtime it will sound even better with some dust, fingermarks and stickmarks all over it, when it goes from a redish colortone to a more yellowish colortone but that's my opinion.

Great bell, bright and loud.

Just amazing. You won't be dissapointed.

Better than the 20" by far!
