Expensive and impractical

The case is quite solid and attractive. It is made of a matte metal which is probably very sensitive to scratches and dings.
However, it uses 2.5mm screws and floating nuts in the rails, which is impractical and annoying to assemble. Moreover, it does not support knurlies if you want to keep the option to close the case.

You would be much better off with an Intellijel 7U case, the Befaco or the Arturia...

Extra comfort for patching, but do not buy Befaco Knurlies M2.5 for this!

I am simply delighted because this eurorack case is of impeccable quality. The hinges are not protected by any varnish, so they are easy to slide apart without having to unscrew them. I'll just write briefly now and add to this review in a few weeks. One thing you should definitely know, if you're going to use it with a lid, forget the Befaco Knurlies M2.5. You can't close the lid, because the end of the screws at the bottom prevents it from closing. I'm a bit angry about this to the person before me because he didn't write about this not insignificant problem and I bought the Befaco Knurlies M2.5.
One other very important thing, the headphone output is also a line-level TRS output, with a built-in limiting circuit, so you won't want to use anything else as the main output.
