Lightweight, good construction BUT flawed design.
TP Saxophone 13.03.2018
This case really is very lightweight while feeling strong, and is a very snug fit for my Yanagisawa S900 soprano. There's a couple of spaces for bits, though only really good for reeds - with the added width of a screw on a rovner ligature on a mouthpiece, the mouthpiece became too big for the space available (I ended up storing my larger mouthpiece under the G# key in the main bit of the case). Also be warned if you have an in-bell soprano stand it won't fit, but that's because the case is a good fit.

So far so good. The catches are the catch... they take a while to work out exactly when they're locked, and the two halves of the case aren't obvious when they're fully closed. This wasn't a deal breaker, so got used to this.

What I had noticed was that it is FAR too easy to accidentally open the catches. And I'd been careful with this. Until I was rushing between two gigs, with the case slung over my shoulder (carrying another three things), and walking pretty quickly... when I heard a pretty huge clatter behind me.

The catches had both come open and my sax had fallen from my back onto the pavement, causing quite serious damage to the sax.

So. Game over for this case (thankfully not my sax, this time, the bell took most of the impact...)

Might be ok for you if you are only going to carry this on its own, but be careful with those catches.
