Harley Benton Fusion-III HSH LH Roasted FBB

When this guitar arrived i was thoroughly impressed, the specs are incredible for the price.
The guitar is also absolutely stunning to look at and photos do not do it justice. Really fine instrument.

Guitar has decent pickups, sounds good, especially out of my harley benton tube amp. Some people dont like the pickups because theyre inexpensive but last time i checked that doesnt make them sound bad.

Mine arrived in what initially appeared to be pristine condition. Played perfect right out the box, sounded awesome, no visible damage to the instrument or the box. However, when plugged in it would make an odd clicking sound once every few minutes.
I go to screw in the tremolo arm and, oh it doesnt screw in!!! the threads it should screw into are visibly ripped off which doesnt make any sense because all the guitar has done is sit in my carpeted room and get played twice at this point. At this point i look it over with a flashlight and can see cracks in several components. cracked pickups, cracked truss rod adjuster, paint chipped off the black parts of the saddles and of course the ripped threading inside the bridge. No damage to the finish. what could have caused this? mishandled parts in the factory? a dodgy past return? not certain how this one made it past quality control and its a damn shame because i got attached to it really quickly in the 3 days i had it so far.
not sure if ill even get a refund or replacement because they asked for more photos than i had originally put on the website however when i replied to their email with more photos it has been radio silence. cant resubmit the return request on here either.

still if i had been sent a non-faulty one i think this guitar is absolutely incredible.

Having previously bought 3 Harley Benton guitars,and being happy with them,I decided to purchase the HB fusion 3.it took a week to arrive,but when it did,I was like a child at Christmas.on opening it,this beautiful guitar appeared before me.I inspected it all over thoroughly,and not a speck of dust was on it.
I then tuned it(wasn’t to far out),plugged it into the amp and played for a while.To say I loved it may be a little overstated,but the playability and fit and finish blew me away.
Overall,it is definitely exceeded my expectations,and the only slight worry I had was how the pickups would perform f terra ding comments relating to them,but I needn’t have worried,as they performed fine.
All ican say is if you are thinking of purchasing one, I don’t think you will bedissapointed.

The neck is quite spectacular. I love the satin finish and the overall feel. It definitely has a bit of heft to it. The flame front is beautiful as well.

The pickups are pretty disappointing and do not match the quality of the rest of the instrument. They should put their better Tesla pickups on at this price.

The pickups are also quite noisy in single coil configuration (relative to other single coil guitars that I own). With the coil splitting the noiseless positions are a bit awkward--1 and 5 in normal, 2 and 4 with coil splitting. It seems like there would be a better way to wire it perhaps with a "super-strat" 5 way switch.

Overall very happy with the purchase.

This is my 3rd Harley Benton and the build quality is outstanding. Feature wise for the money, don’t think can be bettered. The standout feature for me is the amazing neck, silky smooth with lovely figuring on the back and the fingerboard. Frets finished very well, no sharp ends and well polished. If I have any reservations it’s the pickups, I prefer the Roswell HAF Humbuckers on my Fusion T to the LAF pickups on this model. Still a great buy
