A fantastic djembe

For the packaging, contrary to some reviews that I read, complaining of a lack of protection for the instrument, mine was very well protected.

Firstly, I should say that I have bought this as an instrument to learn on, so I have no expertise in which to evaluate the djembe.
I purchased a djembe for my young son, so that we can learn together - his is a Schalloch 700.M 10" Djembe Medium, which in terms of size seems a good fit for him.
The Afroton produces a much deeper, fuller bass sound, that sounds more "natural" - personally I love it! The difference in sound is exactly what feedback on the two already highlights and given the difference in both price and size, I think that this is to be expected. I hesitated between this one and the Thomann NN32 Djembe, which was of a similar price but having listened many times to the sound recording (great service to provide to offer a tangible evaluation of an instrument) opted for this one. My advice would be to listen to the sounds produced and to choose the best for you!

Vraiment un super son, un super produit, c'est mon premier Djambé et j'en suis vraiment trop trop contente.
Il correspond completement à mes attentes.
On voit bien à l'interieur que le bois est travaillé manuellement, tout comme la peau, véritable peau de chèvre, il reste encore quelques poils. Bref je l'adore.Merci beaucoup

Parfait
Aigus qui claquent, graves sonores et vrombissants, et bords parfaitement arrondis ce qui ne crée aucune douleurs aux mains.
Très léger et donc pratique à déplacer
Très bien accordé dès la livraison, il n'y a qu'à jouer !
