After testing these picks for a while on the electric guitar I'm definitely not a fan.

The sound produced by the pick is good, warmer than the "classic" tortex and the durability is clearly there.

Unfortunately the pick is so slippery that it feels really weird playing with it.
Playing with a traditional pick grip the thumb's fingertip makes good contact with the pick but it keeps sliding on the index part. I wonder if it would have been better with an embossed grip like on the good old Dunlop Nylon.

You could drill some holes in the pick to improve the grip but it seems like too much of a hassle for me.

To summarize : good warm sound (trust me), poor grip.

Nachdem ich mich nach vielen Nutzungsjahren von den grauen Dunlop-Picks verabschiedet hatte (die Picks waren mir nicht mehr flexibel genug) und bereits seit längerem die 0.73er Tortex-Flex - Picks für alle gitarristischen Lebenslagen genutzt habe, wollte ich noch eine Alternative für den den etwas (hard-) rockigeren E-Gitarren-Einsatz ausprobieren. Aufgrund der tollen Material-Konsistenz und den guten Erfahrungen mit den Tortex-Flex - Picks fiel meine Wahl auf die Picks mit der Stärke 0.88. Wie auch bei den 0.73er Picks bin ich begeistert vom Materialgefühl beim Spielen dieser Plektren. Mit der 0.88er Stärke sind auch Downstrokes gut möglich, dafür gibt es etwas mehr Spielaufwand bei Wechselschlag-Techniken. Die Picks sind nicht übermäßig klein, man hat auf jeden Fall das Gefühl, eine ausreichend große Grifffläche zur Verfügung zu haben. Die Picks sind nicht profiliert, das muss man mögen - rutschig finde ich sie aber nicht. Die Picks sind - verglichen mit den 0.73er Tortex-Flex - Picks deutlich steifer. Hinsichtlich der Haltbarkeit: Die Bedruckung nutzt sich relativ schnell ab, ansonsten sind die Picks einige Zeit sehr gut nutzbar, bevor man zu einem Neuen greifen möchte. Wer auf der Akustikgitarre gerne laut und kräftig spielt (auch Single-Notes klingen gut und lassen sich gezielt akzentuieren), kann die Picks ausprobieren. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis finde ich absolut ausgewogen. Insgesamt universal einsetzbare Plektren mit etwas festerer Griffanmutung - ein Versuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!
