Ich bin vor Kurzem auf eine neue Ausgabe von Sibelius umgestiegen. Sibelius 6 hatte ich von einem Kollegen bekommen. Ich bin bei der neues Ausgabe (Sibelius 7 First, heißt jetzt nur noch Sibelius) nach ungefähr einer Woche an eine erste Grenze, ich möchte nicht "paywall" sagen, gestoßen. Was meine ich damit? Nun, ich war zugegebenermaßen verwöhnt durch meine vorherige Version, das wurde mir letztens bewusst, als ich eine Wiedergabeeinstellung vornehmen wollte. Genauer wollte ich bei einer Passage die Wiedergabe bei einigen Instrumenten aussetzen lassen, damit sie erst bei Wiederholung dazu kommen. Platz- und papiersparend arbeiten, sozusagen. Insgesamt ist es sehr schade, dass einige in meinen Augen eher rudimentäre Dinge gesperrt sind für Nutzer wie mich, die sich sowas auch ein wenig absparen müssen. Coronahilfe hin oder her: Ich finde, es gibt bessere Methoden, als bei einer Notationssoftware an solchen Ecken zu sparen, nur um ein wenig upselling zu betreiben. Auch neuerdings die Möglichkeit, die Volllizenz nicht mehr dauerhaft, sondern nur im Abo erwerben zu können, nervt mich ziemlich. Ich hole hier echt etwas aus... An sich ist das Programm in Ordnung, ich möchte trotzdem jedem/r, die so ein Programm sucht, Musescore empfehlen: open source und zudem umsonst. Damit arbeiten die professionellsten KollegInnen von mir und es ist gleichzeitig möglich, für 160 Euro einen Wocheneinkauf machen. Allen anderen sei die Volllizenz ans Herz gelegt, wer wie ich auf bestimmte Dinge nicht verzichten kann in Sachen Notation. Klanglich habe ich nichts auszusetzen.

Impossible de faire fonctionner Sibelius

J'ai acheté Sibelius sur Thomann croyant que l'installation allait fonctionner très facilement. 159€ qui ne me servent à rien du tout. Thomann ne m'a pas donné la solution et le service AV m'a conseillé de faire ce que j'ai mille fois essayé avant pensant que j'étais surement néophyte en MAO. Bref, je n'arrive toujours pas à Entrer le code de validation sur Avid Link. J'en ai vraiment ras le bol. Pas du tout content de cet achat.

10Go de fichiers pour un son médiocre

Bien que la version d'essai (ultimate) proposée par Sibelius ne m'ait pas parue convaincante, je me suis laissé convaincre par les avis élogieux figurant sur la page de ce produit. La déception est d'autant plus grande que les 10 Go de sons fournis avec le logiciel sont de loin bien moins convaincants que les dernières soundfonts fournies avec Musescore 3 (le tout gratuitement). Tout au plus s'agit-il de sons Général MIDI améliorés.
Pour un utilisateur de Musescore l'utilisation de Sibelius Artist est certes intuitive, mais la quasi-totalité des sons sont tellement nuls qu'il est quasiment impossible de se faire une bonne idée du rendu d'une orchestration.
Par ailleurs Sibélius - qui profite bien de sa position de leader de ce segment - propose de passer à la version Ultimate... au plein tarif, sans même tenir compte de l'achat récent de la version Artist perpétuelle.
Quant à ajouter des bibliothèques de sons VST, c'est quasiment mission impossible.
Résultat, j'ai investi plus de 150 euros en pure perte dans un logiciel dont je ne me sers pas.
