Perfect set for my ibanez RGA8 in standard tuning (F#BEADGBE). I have tried few different sets, and this one is spot on with the string gauges fo my tuning and scale length. With different strings I had a problem that some strings (G and high B) would be louder than the others, with this set it's spot on!

When choosing strings have in mind your scale length, I have tried bottom .80 string on my guitar and it's waaaay too thick.

This set of strings was originally put to my Ibanez RG8.
I've changed it to Elixir's Nano Web set of custom size, then to Ernie Ball slinky top fat bottom and I decided to use originals again, as they feel the best for this long scale instrument. They are also quite durable and keep clear sound for a long time. Really worth buying.

Man erlebt immer wieder Dinge, die es nicht geben dürfte; wie z. B. hier. Vor kurzem hatte ich mir zum Probieren diesen Saitensatz bestellt. Er ist nicht viel teurer als die 8-Saitersätze von Pyramid - also warum nicht mal testen...

Heute wollte ich die Saiten auf meine IBANEZ M80M auf ziehen und stellte, zuerst total verdutzt, dann sehr verärgert fest, dass die A- und die D-Saite aus dem Satz ZU KURZ sind - ich konnte die Mechaniken nicht mal erreichen - man glaubt es kaum. Auf der einen Seite bringt Ibanez sicherlich eine der längsten 8-Saiter-Gitarren auf den Markt; dazu noch exclusive Saitensätze, und dann passen die nicht mal bei allen Modellen!!!

Über die Qualität kann (noch) nichts sagen, aber so was geht gar nicht - da fühlt man sich fast schon verhöhnt. Ich hoffe jetzt nur, dass die übrigen zwei Sätze wenigstens auf meine RG2228GK passen. Dann werde ich noch einen Nachtrag zur Qualität machen...

Aber kaufen werde ich diese Saiten - schon allein aus Prinzip - nicht mehr. Ich werde mich wieder an die Pyramid-Saiten halten. Die passen und sind zudem nicht in China gefertigt!!
