Utilizzate in accordatura standard su chitarre differenti per qualche anno.
Suono decente, sopra la media. peccato che non durano molto.
Si ossidano facilmente come tante altre corde di altri brand.
Spesso ordino molti set di corde tutti insieme, per fare scorta, e l'ultima volta credo mi sia capitata una partita di corde difettosa: anche se i cantini raramente si rompevano, capitava frequentemente che l'avvolgimento delle corde si danneggiava. Da allora ho cambiato marchio

La scalatura di corde definitiva per le mie chitarre con diapason Gibson Les Paul

Da tempo acquisto la 10-46 della Tite-Fit DR preferendole per il loro rapporto Q/P, il feel, la durata, la stabilità e il suono. Su chitarre con diapason Fender Statocaster (648 mm) tutto ok, ma su quelle con diapason da 628mm (Gibson Les Paul) le trovo un pò troppo scariche come tensione sulle tre corde avvolte. Con le MH-10 ho risolto definitivamente la questione. Grazie DR strings.

Sound fine, but didn't last long

These strings were bought in an attempt to broaden my horizon on string brands (I consistently go back to a different one), however they failed to convince me.

This doesn't make them bad. In fact they sounded pretty good at first, giving a well rounded sound suitable for many playing styles, including the heavier music I tend to gravitate to.

The slightly heavier bottom end is great for extra tension to help palm muted chugs, while maintaining easy fretting with the light top end.

Changing these strings was a bit of a faff though, at least in attempts to follow the instructions in the packet. DR ask you to add an extra crimp before snipping, as this apparently improves longevity of the string - weird how I haven't seen any other manufacturers ask for this. Now, here is the thing: If they actually lasted longer I would be up for it, but the strings needed replaced sooner than my preferred brand, which I have since gone back to.

I suppose if you are a regularly gigging musician, where replacing strings weekly is the norm anyway I can recommend these, as they do sound fine.

If you are like me, a hobbyist who wants to make stings last a while, possibly look somewhere else to find equally good (or better?) tone and less deterioration.

Stop searching for better strings, try DR

I have been playing guitar for 30 years. A lot of different strings have been in my guitars. Someone is always telling you that this string is better than that, and it makes you wonder that if there is some truth to it. Or is all just about a personal preference.
I first tried DR strings about 15 years ago, I have not used other strings willingly since. DR's require less out of the box warming up, before you can play them in tune, than any other string brand I have tried. Also, they last for a long time and sound great! Try them, you will be glad you did!
