You cannot ask for more for this price

I bought this mute a bit out of curiosity and because I wanted to do an experiment with a mute that I could eventually throw away. I was indeed positively impressed by the overall quality of a very simple object that does the job, for real. It's for sure an entry level. Compared to other mutes I have, the overall volume is less reduced (this might be a problem in a trombone section) and metal mutes have a different overall sound. But I could ask for more for this price.

guter Dämpfer, der den Klang relativ wenig verändert

Habe mir im umfangreichen Sortiment an Posaunendämpfern direkt bei Thomann einen Dämpfer gesucht, der möglichst wenig den Klang der Posaune verändert und bin bei diesem Plastikdämpfer gelandet. Andere Holzdämpfer hätten auch ähnliche Eigenschaften gehabt, sind aber noch erheblich teurer.

Die Töne klingen mit diesem Dämpfer auch sehr stabil und es gibt nur geringe Tonabweichungen beim Spielen der Naturtonreihe...

Pour un prix si bas, j'avais quelques doutes sur la justesse et le son.
Une fois de plus avec Thomann, je suis surpris par la qualité du produit.
Cette sourdine est parfaite pour une utilisation en harmonie.
