Virtual Reality für die Gitarre

The Boss Waza Air combines the premium sounds from the Boss Katana series along with a unique surround sound for luxurious practicing and jamming. Five amp models and more than 50 effects are available to choose from, including sounds for bass and electro-acoustic guitars, which provide a three-dimensional sound experience with the integrated gyro sensor technology and thus give the impression that the amp is in the same room as the player. The Boss Waza Air is very comfortable to wear, even for longer sessions, streams music from your smartphone via Bluetooth, and can also be used wirelessly with the Tone Studio app. The scope of delivery also includes the WL-T transmitter, with which the system can be operated for up to 12 hours without charging. So there's nothing standing in the way of those sessions in the great outdoors.

Boss Waza Air Over-Air Headphone Guitar Sound System

Jamming and practising with luxury sound

With its wide ear cushions, comfortably padded headband, and 50mm custom drivers, the Waza Air offers high wearing comfort and high audio quality at the same time. Easy-to-use controls for guitar volume, Bluetooth audio playback, and direct access to six individually configurable patches make using the headphones easy. In addition, thanks to its flexible two-way design, the Waza Air can be easily folded for easy storage in your gig bag. The included WL-T transmitter enables wireless operation with the instrument, but if you only want to listen to music, simply plug the WL-T into the appropriate socket to use the Waza Air as a full-blown Bluetooth headset. Both components are recharged using a standard USB power supply unit, and a USB cable is included in the scope of delivery.

Elegant gadget for sound gourmets

If you like to practise often or prefer to jam undisturbed with backing tracks and value the highest sound quality, you are guaranteed to have a lot of fun with the Waza Air. The newly developed Boss surround sound technology conveys an extremely realistic and natural playing experience, in which the integrated gyro sensor detects head movements and compares them with sophisticated 3D algorithms. This ensures a completely new sound experience and an extremely realistic spatial impression, which has an inspiring and at the same time creative effect on the player. Thanks to the wireless connection to the instrument, you can also treat yourself to another piece of freedom for the session on a couch, in a hotel, or out in the open.

Full control with the Boss Tone Studio app

Based on the sounds and controls of the Katana stage amps, the Waza Air allows for extensive customisation and a variety of ready-to-play presets via the Boss Tone Studio app. The five amp models offer sounds ranging from classic clean to high-gain, including a full-range sound ideal for bass and electro-acoustic guitars. There are also more than 50 effect types available, including modulation, delay, and reverb effects that have been specially optimised for the Waza Air. Thanks to the six integrated memory slots, your favourite setups can be saved and accessed at any time using permanently assigned buttons.

About Boss

The Boss brand has been an important part of the Japanese Roland Corporation since the mid-1970s and has caused a sensation from its inception, especially with its compact effect pedals but also multi-effect units and other helpful tools for guitarists. The company's single effect pedals in particular are legendary and can be found in almost every guitarist's home. An incredible 15 million have been sold to date. With its Katana series, the manufacturer now also offers excellent amplifiers at a very interesting price point.

Plug in and enjoy

It doesn't matter whether you're practising at home on the couch or in the bedroom, warming up before a gig, or at a session in your hotel: With its sound based on the successful Katana amplifier series, the high level of wearing comfort, and the unique Boss surround sound technology, the Boss Waza Air offers plenty of opportunities to let your creativity run free. Plus, the ultra-low latency wireless connection ensures a hassle-free playing experience without any stumbling blocks, while the auto-standby and wake-up features conserve battery life in the Waza Air and WL-T Transmitter between sessions.
