Participation in contests and games organised on the Musikhaus Thomann website (www.thomann.de) and their execution are subject to the following conditions:


1. Contest

The “Band Contest” — in cooperation with Sennheiser, MaMa, and Monte le Son — is organised by Thomann GmbH, Director: Hans Thomann, Hans-Thomann-Str. 1, 96138 Burgebrach, Germany (“organiser”).


2. Participation

  1. Participation is open to persons aged 18 and over.
  2. To take part in the contest, the following requirements must be met and the application submitted via the Thomann blog (t.blog):

3. Exclusion from the Contest

  1. Employees of Thomann GmbH, their cooperation partners, and their relatives (parents, siblings, spouses) may not participate.
  2. In the event of non-compliance with these participation conditions — particularly through the use of unauthorised tools or other manipulation — the organiser reserves the right to exclude participants. In such cases, prizes may be withdrawn and reclaimed.
  3. The contest runs from 25/08/2025 to 09/09/2025. This period and the deadline apply to all platforms and include all contest phases (applications, preselection, public voting, selection of the final winner). The application submission phase runs from 25/08/2025 to 31/08/2025 at 23:59.

4. Procedure and Management

  1. After verifying eligible applications, a jury composed of members from Monte le Son, Thomann, and MaMa will preselect 10 groups. A public vote will then decide on 5 finalists from the preselected groups. Finally, the jury will choose the best artistic proposal from the finalists.
  2. The winner will be informed directly by email (to the address provided) as well as via social media. The participant agrees to this form of communication. The right to the prize will lapse if acceptance is not confirmed within 3 days of notification. In such cases, a new winner may be selected.
  3. The right to the prize cannot be transferred to a third party.

Participants agree that no financial or other claims can be made against Thomann or other organisers in the event of online or other media broadcasting. They also agree that their contributions may be used for promotional purposes, including (but not limited to) radio and TV broadcasting, advertising, or public presentations.

Winners agree that their names (and, if applicable, pseudonyms) as well as their photos or videos may be used for promotional purposes related to this contest, including in print and digital media.


7. Data Protection

  1. Participants agree that the organiser may store the data necessary for the execution of the contest for the duration of the contest. Some services are provided by third parties (“partners”). Data will be deleted at the end of the contest.
  2. Participants agree that their data may be processed and, if necessary, transmitted to third parties for the proper execution of the contest.
  3. Participants may withdraw their consent at any time by sending an email to social@thomann.de. In the event of withdrawal, their participation may be cancelled. They also have the right to access and rectify their data in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act.

8. Liability

The organisers are released from all obligations once the prize has been awarded.


9. Miscellaneous

  1. Legal recourse is excluded.
  2. Only the law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding private international law.
