Conditions of Participation in the Newsletter Giveaway

Who is the organizer of the giveaway?

The newsletter voucher giveaway (hereinafter referred to as “promotion”) is organised / carried out by:

What can you win?

One of 50 Thomann vouchers in the amount of €50.

Who is eligible to participate?

Anyone, including you, is eligible to participate if you are interested in Thomann products, our websites, e.g. thomann.de, or our social media sites (e.g. YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram) and are at least 18 years of age.

Employees of Thomann and other companies belonging to the Thomann Group are not eligible to participate.

When and how can I participate (prerequisites for participation)?

The promotion begins on 01 July 2026 with the launch of the social media campaign and ends on 31 August 2026 at 11:59 PM (GMT). The campaign will take you to a landing page where you can subscribe to the Thomann Newsletter to participate in the giveaway. The use of a working email address is required. The use of so-called disposable email addresses not intended for receiving email regularly is not permitted. As the organizer, we have taken technical measures to exclude such email addresses from being entered into the entry form.

You will then receive a confirmation email, in which you must confirm your subscription by clicking “Yes, I would like to receive the Thomann Newsletter!”. After completing this step, you will automatically be entered into the prize draw, provided that your registration status is not changed by unsubscribing from the Thomann Newsletter within the promotion period.

Multiple participation in the promotion is not permitted and will result in disqualification.

You are not entitled to participate in the giveaway. We may refuse your subscription to the newsletter without giving reasons.

Participating in the giveaway is free of charge. However, you may incur costs for your internet access and usage from your internet service provider. As a participant, you are responsible for these costs.

When and how are the winners determined?

The winners will be chosen randomly by drawing lots. The winners will be drawn within 1-3 business days after the end of the promotion and notified accordingly. If you are drawn as a winner, we will notify you by email to the email address you provided when registering for the newsletter. Voucher prizes cannot be exchanged, are non-transferable, cannot be paid out in cash, and no other prizes can be selected as substitutes.

If 

  1. a winning notification is undeliverable,
  2. the winner refuses the prize or
  3. a voucher cannot be redeemed for other reasons for which we are not responsible,

this winner will be disqualified. In this case, we reserve the right to draw a new winner who has also participated in the promotion, or to raffle off the forfeited prize in a new promotion. If the winner has not contacted Thomann within 30 days from the winning notification, the prize may be awarded to another participant.

What additional “small print” should you be aware of?

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to cancel the promotion at any time without prior notice. This applies in particular when orderly procedure cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons. In this case, we reserve the right to award the prizes by drawing lots among the eligible participants who have participated up to the time of cancellation.

We further reserve the right to exclude persons from participating at our discretion:

  1. in the event of manipulation in connection with access to the promotion or its procedures,
  2. in the event of breaches of these conditions of participation,
  3. in the event of unfair behaviour or
  4. in the event of false or misleading information being submitted in connection with participation in the promotion.

Miscellaneous

Legal recourse is excluded.

The applicable law of the country in which you have your habitual residence shall apply. Should individual provisions of these conditions or participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions.

Data protection information

We process the email address provided by you for the newsletter subscription (legal basis: Art. 6 (5) lit. a GDPR). Please note our general data protection information. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. To subscribe to the newsletter, you must click the confirmation link in the verification email that we send you after you register. When you click the link in the verification email, we process the date and time of the click, the content of the email sent to you, and your email address. We process these data in order to be able to prove that you have confirmed your subscription. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) lit c GDPR, as we are legally required to be able to prove the declaration and confirmation of consent.

In addition to this, we use the email address to carry out the promotion. The legal basis for this processing is the fulfillment of the contract or the initiation of a contractual relationship with you as a participant in the event of winning, Art. 6 (1) lit b GDPR.

With regard to your personal data, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). For details, please refer to the statutory provisions. Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time.
