Bang for the buck

Very well built and professionally looking. Plays deep with a punch, although a bit tough on the power amp. Built in passive crossover at 160hz seems a bit high, Found the best split (with EV SX300 fullrange-tops) at around 120hz.

Lightweight, stackable and solid.

Minor comlaint is that the ports are not mounted in a "wedge" so you can't place the back of the woofer directly against a wall, if that would be neccessary due to space restraints.

Either way, very impressed with the sound and the build quality

Letar du alltid efter "most bang for the buck"?

I the box pro Achat 115 Sub hittade jag den klarhet jag önskade för en vettig slant. Köpte 2 st som en del av paketet 265669 (the box pro Achat 804/115 Amp Bundle).

Är verkligen nöjd med helheten. Låter kristallklart. Har använt det live vid konserter upp till 200 personer om det inte är allt för högt i tak på lokalen.

Just den färdigkombinerade varianten tillsammans med toppar och stärkarpaket har funkat oerhört bra oavsett om det är för en enkel gitarr och sångröst eller för full gospelkör med stökigt komp.

Rekommenderas varmt! Värt varenda öre.

Very impressed with these subs. they are light compact and look amazing.

the drivers can certainly take a beating and they have a great Spl that can play among the big boys.

i would however recommend 4 of these all together so two either side of the stage stacked to really feel some guts from the boxes. but in single stack they still pack punch and i highly recommend these subs to any band, sound company and install in clubs and pubs.

all my clients comment about how smart they look and how amazing they sound.

At first, I purchased one of these (with the intention of buying 1 more later).
The sub was driven by 1 channel of a t.amp E1200 (800w @ 8ohm), and the sub really kicked hard- I was so impressed I immediately bought the other straight after testing the first.
Unfortunately for me, and perhaps a percentage of others - if you choose to use the sub on a different speakon pin set (Set 2, in my case), you have to open up the back plate and resolder (Usually the spade crimps aren't easy to pull off, or don't go back on very well), the resoldering isn't an issue if you're capable - but it would be nice to have a pins selection, like the 18" version.

Fast forward a bit - the subs are now being run on a Powersoft M30D (Martin rebadge), and the sincere quality and detail that the subs are capable of really shone through. They really do punch, and they certainly dig a bit.

A small thing about the drivers in these enclosures is that the pole vent does whistle at high excursion - which is unnoticeable if you are running tops as well, obviously.

Highly recommend this sub - great performance at a nice price.
