The Beta 87C is a permanently polarised condensation microphone with a linear transmission range designed specifically for the needs of professional artists using in-ear monitoring systems such as Shure PSM®.

The uniform cardioid characteristics over the entire transmission range very effectively avoid unwanted background noises, which is particularly noticeable to the users of in-ear monitoring systems for irritation in the monitor mix. The result is sound transmission in studio quality.

Shocked!! (In a good way)

Being a singer myself I have always searched and done some much research into mics and finding the best one.

I have to say with the Shure Beta 87c I think I found It, Surprisingly light and crisp sounding it makes you sound like a true pro.

I was concerned with feedback being a condenser microphone but haven't heard it squeal once, just me ha! ;)

I would highly recommend this mic if you are a true vocalist and want that beautiful pro sound.

Be warned however if your playing pubs with small stages which most of us are, it will pick up the drums and on stage nose very easily and if you use IEM that can be a problem.

But if you are doing an acoustic gig or sitting at a piano singing then this is 100% the microphone you need.

Super Vocal Mikrofon

Für etwas klareren Gesang wollte ich meinen Mikrofonbestand um ein Kondensator-Vocal Mikrofon erweitern. Dazu haben das Neumann KMS 105 und das Shure Beta 87C Eingang in meinen Warenkorb gefunden. Das KMS 105 wirkt schon sehr edel und auch die mitgelieferte Tasche ist toll, wohingegen es beim Shure nur die übliche Standard-Tasche gibt. Da meine Mikrofone aber ohnehin in einem speziellen Mikrofonkoffer aufbewahrt werden, ist dieser Punkt nicht relevant für mich. Im Praxistest waren beide Mikrofone toll. Für meinen Geschmack hatte das Neumann etwas mehr mehr Präsenz in den Höhen, dafür verzeiht einem das Shure etwas mehr Zisch- und Atemgeräusche, was wohl für den Live-Alltag etwas besser ist. Aus diesem Grund favorisierte unser Sänger das Shure und das Neumann trat wieder den Heimweg an. Ein zweiter, nicht unwesentlicher Faktor in dieser Rechnung sind aber auch die gut 100 Glocken Preisunterschied zwischen diesen beiden Schallwandlern.

Après plusieurs tests, nous avons opté pour ce micro qui valorise bien le grain de voix de notre chanteuse.
Ne pas oublier d'activer l'alimentation phantom...
