Best capo I ever bought (for a steel string)
Easy to attach, easier to adjust. Such a solid grip it makes me feel ashamed for all the crap 0-3¤ excuses of a capo I?ve owned before. OK, I am more ?serious? about music now, so there. I bought an Ortega capo for my classical guitar, as this one is not made for super wide necks, or 12-stringers (?). Either way, I will remember to keep my steelstring/electric guitars capoed with a Schubb from now on.
If you are tired of cheap capo?s losing grip or just misbehaving, this one is worth every ¤.
PROS: so easy it makes me go aaahhh, solid grip, keeps tune 100%. I like aesthetics, so I must add this capo looks like classy (but not show-off/brag, just.. class :) jewellery on a guitar neck. Also, if you don?t like capo?s where you need to squeeze a lot with your fingers; get this one. You need 0hp/kW of energy to operate this beaut.
CONS: none, just buy a wider Schupp for a wider neck guitar!

A versatile capo, highly reputable
You can easily adjust the tension (grip) against the strings,
thus you have very fine control of the sound, also eliminating
the damage/wear and tear to the strings which can happen with capos
that clamp very strong to the fingerboard.
This is my favorite capo and I couldn't use another one in my daily use. The fact that I mention makes it an obvious choice, as well as easily being able to clip off and change position during a live performance (switching keys is an easy task). - To do this it only takes a second and pretty much without the need to retune the guitar. It's only with "clamp capos" that you need retuning during repositioning. I believe that has to do with the hard pressing slightly altering the tension.
I usually play the guitar with as soft "capo clamp" as I possibly can, since then I do not have to retune often.
Proud to own one, An obvious choice for any professional!

Perfect
I wasn't so sure I would be happy with the capo when I first made the purchase. But I trusted the very positive reviews and I was right to do so.
I originally thought the mechanics looked like it could release/open the capo any second but it sits very firmly, even when you unscrew the screw slightly to lower the pressure on the strings. Excellent engineering.

Really great Capo!
A really great Capo that just does what it's supposed to, without any hassle.
Works real good with all my electric and acoustic guitars.
Really good design, and good quality. Can't imagine this one break.

does the job!
It's a classic, everybody know the Shubb C1 is a good capo that works well on different neck profiles and don't put you out of tune too much compared to many others. I could verify this myself and after a few months I can confirm

Shubb C1
