My 80.s guitar heroes
I use this picup in bridge possition on all my Ibanezguitars. I use to play on small, medium and large stages through Marshall jcm 900 head and cabinet. The picup easily cuts through drums, guitar and bass. My references for the bridge pickup sound are to mention a few Jake e lee, Satriani, Wolf Hoffmann and Eddie Van Halen.
The best thing with this pickup is that it sounds great playing these 80.s style metal stuff but also much heavier stuff like Slayer or Metallica. There is no need for EMG.s to get really raw distorted sound. These are very organic as well. The pinch harmonics that are able to create with these picups are high enough to reach the moon.
If I could change something about this pickups it would be to lower the treble. The picups can feel a bit thin sometimes, but there are no picups to compete anyway in my opinion. With a good amp or a good pedal you can make these picups to blow something up.
