I live in an apartment and can't have a live kit at the moment so an e-kit ended up being the best solution. Mainly using the kit for recording, and playing it through my drum libraries on the computer it sounds as good as the samples I own. I connect the kit through my interface via a high end USB and there is practically no latency, The sounds in the module aren't great but for practice or play-alongs they're fine. You can pick-and-mix samples from different kits to get a decent set of sounds.
I find that my kick drum pedal doesn't always stay in place. Not a major issue but can be annoying when you are recording.
There is an option to load your own samples onto the module, this has however not worked for me yet. I've been in contact with customer support and we still haven't figured it out. At first it didn't read the files and now there's only some crackling noise whenever I load it onto a drum.
Altogether, a really fun kit, easy to set up and customise, 10" pads makes a massive difference, having played 8" pads before. The mesh is great, other than failing to load my own samples I've had no real issues with the kit.
