Classic 70's and Van Halen heaven
Anonym 15.02.2016
These JF Joyo/Harley Benton serie have such good reputation that you always get tempted to try yet another one out, especially since the price is very interesting and considering that they're supposed to be more or less clones of classic pedals way, way more expensive.

I'm actually not an effects guy type of guitarplayer, but sometimes it's fun trying to change ones sound. It felt cool to try out a phaser since it's both a trademark on early Van Halen records, but also on countless 70's tunes (often with a different clean sound compared to Eddie).

These pedals are housed in a metal housing that feels really sturdy, and not the cheap and weak plastic stuff you would expect for this price. That's a big plus for me. And of course handling the pedal is easy since it's just one control that change the phase effect.

I've understood that JF-06 Vintage Phase is supposed to clone the MXR Phase 90. I haven't tried that one out (or actually any other phasers at all), so I can't really tell any difference. I just like the sound that it emulates, and I also read that there's a trim pot inside that you can tweak if you open up the whole shebang. I might try that for some experiments in the future.

But for now, jamming old EVH tunes or classic rock tunes is fun as hell with this pedal.

Very affordable, feels like it might work on stage/tours, and as far as I can tell delivers the phase effect really well.

Highly recommended.

One knob sweeps.
Anonym 21.07.2016
Bought this pedal to run different synths and machines through, sounds phasey and smooth, however as you've probably noticed it has one knob, which controls rate.

Fun to put on atmospheres and rides/high hats but wouldn't recommend it for any larger parts in your arrangements.

If you're like me and likes to build long chains of pedals it's fun to stick it in between reverbs and delays. Too cheap to not try once, as all the Benton pedals I've tried it's built to withstand a few invasions and then some.

Om man vill ha ett "försiktigt" phaser-ljud , av MXR 90stil, men vill betala (under) en 1/3 del så ska man köpa denna pedal. On/off och en speedkotroll - enklare kan det inte bli!

Pretty damn good
Anonym 11.02.2016
It's a bargain and you really can't go wrong with this one. It has one knob and it does what it's suppose to do. You get a classic phaser sound which compares well with boxes that cost a lot more. It's an ugly piece but it feels pretty damn solid and I'm not afraid it will break any time soon. Need a phaser? Get this one... and maybe get something more.
