Ernie Ball EB6180 VP-JR

Volume Pedal

Ernie Ball volume pedals have always been considered the Rolls Royce in their field. The VP-JR does this claim justice. The high quality manufacturing and extreme sturdiness guarantee the best value for an - admittedly - slightly higher price. Since there is rarely enough space on the pedal board, the VP-JR (= junior) is built to be smaller than its bigger brother, but this has no impact on the quality.

State of the art volume pedal
Anonym 03.03.2017
This pedal if of course fantastic. It is more or less a factory standard for pedalboards all over the world. A volume pedal is so simple in its construction and components, but can make a lot of difference for your sound, tone and mannerism. You can of course use it to simply regulate your volume, but you can also use it to shape your overdrive tone or do fantastic ambient volume swells.

A volume pedal is a must on my pedalboard and the Ernie Ball VP-JR really lived up to my high expectations.

A word of coution: Make sure that you buy the correct one. There are different versions depending on your guitar pickups. I have not experienced any of the infamous "tone suck" but I am not using the tuner out, just to be sure to get the most "tone" out of my setup.

Ok

Men gör givetvis jobbet.

Enkel och bra volympedal
Anonym 24.11.2016
Det är helt klart den bästa volympedalen jag testat. Enkel design och inte för stor och klumpig på pedalbordet.
Hade min första i kanske 6 år innan strängen inuti gick av efter väldigt flitigt användande.

Old reliable
Anonym 27.03.2014
Ernie ball has always been a company that makes reliable products, especially when it comes to volume pedals. The Vp Jr does what it says on the box, it has a strong metal chassis that is practically bullet proof and is big enough for it to feel very comfortable under your foot but not too big to make it heavy and cumbersome.

The volume control range is very smooth and you don't get any strange jumps in volume and sudden drops, it's all nice and even. The Vp Jr also has a separate tuner output so you can plug your tuner in and tune whenever you need to without switching on and off the tuner, which is extremely helpful in a live situation.

The pedal also works well as an expression pedal, just plug in a trs cable and you're good to go.
