Very good active picups, you cant go wrong with this. If you use much gain and distortion the emg81 is the shit :)

Such a relief to don't have to mess with soldering. Get the EMG switch too. The only minor problem is that the screws to the bus sometimes gets worn out so keep get two.

Solderless design is fantastic, it was easy to install and I wish more manufacturers went for this type of wiring. Can't fault the quality.

Two quibbles: one, I had to buy the 3 position toggle switch with this, which was another 30 euros, bringing the total to 75. It's not crazy money for the quality but I can't help feeling like the switch should've been bundled with the kit for a bit less or something.

Second quibble, the wire for the battery pack specifically is pretty short, especially as it needs to be attached in two places. I was fixing up an old S type guitar and wanted to house the battery in the back, next to the blocked up trem but there wasn't nearly enough length. Not the end of the world but could've been a tad longer!
