Great 303 clone
J-W 73 05.01.2024
The TT-303 have a warm fat analogue sound, and I am very satisfied with the sound. I have no original Roland 303 to compare with, but compared to Behringer TD-3 that I do own it is a LARGE difference, the TD-3 sounds much more thinner and not as good as the TT-303. The sound of Cyclone TT-303 is much more fatter and better sounding and a big winner against Behringer TD-3 (That still is a great buy for the money). Also the programming is much easier, and the knobs is smoother to move compared to TD-3. The TT-303 is well worth the higher price! I use a DAW in first hand and the Roland TB-303 VST plugin to program the MIDI tracks, it works really great but the MIDI track needs to be transposed in the DAW but is fast and easy to do. The Roland 303 VSTi app is really great but still this TT-303 have more fat analogue warm feeling in the sound compare to digital VSTi app (And, yes you can hear it!)
The downsides:
- There are some noice in background (you can hear it on Thomann sound demos)
- The tuning is not "in tune" when the knob is in the middle on my TT-303. The tuning is also changed very easy by mistake since the knob is near the cutoff knob. You really need to check the tuning all the time, if you don´t have a tuner buy one.
-The programming is over all easy but creation of silent steps could be even easier handled if it had it´s own button like the slide/accent have.
- There are no USB connection.
- I miss a simple number display that keeps track of the steps, you need to count by yourself and you can not pre-set it to stop at 16 step for example. But it is easy to erase steps and you can step freely backwards and forward between start and end step.
- There is no online manual (really bad by manufacturer not to supply this), there is one for Version 1 but all parts is not the same as V2
- The built quality could be even better, there is a little cheap feeling in some parts
- MIDI connectors are placed a lite bit to far inside the product, therefore depending of the MIDI cable brand the connectors on some cables fits better that others.
Summary: The sound is great and it got MIDI, buy it!

Like a kid on a christmas day
Dica 16.01.2018
I'm totally mad about acid, it was only a matter of time until i take the decision to buy an analog synthetizer.
I watched several reviews about the different synthetizers on the market, and found the Cyclone TT 303 to be the most suited to my expectations.
This video helped me to take my decision, it's pretty interesting if you're not settled yet :
:
-Nice design
-Easy to use, user guide is very well explained
-Not the original TB 303 but a good copy from the info i gathered, sound turns out to be really really nice
-Knobs are big, easy to handle and very well indicated, once you get used to it, will feel like a piano

cons:
-The parameter automation isn?t supported under internal or external control, still not that big of a problem

Overall i'm totally satisfied with this product, the sound is really nice, it is easy to use and i'm gonna continue spending loaaaads of time playing with this beauty !

TT-303 Bass Bot V2
Markymarc 04.05.2020
Great design, comes with carry bag which holds the adapter, manual and the TT303 itself. Easy to travel with in the outside. I like the feel of the switches. Sequencer has lots of nice features. The sound is very good to. 3.5mm outputs to connect the TT303 to your other synths and or modular gear. It would have been nice if they would have added 3.5mm inputs as well. For example to filter cutoff cv and pitch. Very happy with the 2100 century bassline generator.
