Too rigid for tight installations

This cable is too rigid for tight installations and where the cable needs to do hard bends. If not meticulously fastened this cable will very easily put pressure or strain on solder joints since its stiff and hard plastic properties will push the cable through any strain relief you might have arranged.

Go for Cordial CPK 220 if you need a flexible cable in the 4?5 mm diameter range.

On the other hand, I would guess that this cable (CMK 222 FRNC) is suitable to push through a pipe or conduit.

Hard wire

The wire was purchased for microphone patch cables along with all the other colors in the Cordial CMK 222 range. This was misleading as the colored cables are 6mm and flexible yet the BK is a thinner, harder cable. The spec does show it is 4mm, but when purchasing a range of colors in the CMK 222 range, be aware that this one is very different to the others. It is not the type of cable I have used for any microphone or stage, hence the low rating. It might be suitable for a permanent fixed installation where flexibility is not required.

One of my go-to lavalier microphone cables

This cable is great - rigid, easy to solder and so far very well lasting all twists and turns it gets. Has pleasurable soft finish for good grip. The price is very reasonable.

A la réception j?ai été un peu surpris car le cable est vraiment très rigide. Il n?est pas du tout adapté a la scène. Je pense que ce cable est prévu pour de l?installation fixe en passage dans des gaines murales ou faux plafond. Rempli son rôle dans mon home studio car il est destiné a des micros en position fixe. Si j?avais su j?aurai pris un modèle plus souple.
