Clearsonic S2466 Sorber

I have four of this exact shape, and altogether 11 Clearsonic panels of different shapes, and I'm very happy with them.
I use one as a bass trap in combination with a S1266, two in the vocal booth ceiling and one standing loose against a wall in the vocal booth and can also be moved around as needed.

I was considering DIY for a long time, both for the cost and because most foam-based panels should be glued to the wall ? which would destroy the wallpaper after removing them or shifting them around. These, on the other hand, can be wall mounted with velcro strips with a minimum of damage on the wall.
Secondly, since I could use Clearsonic panels for all damping needs (two S2466x2 for vocal booth) they give my studio a more consistent look than would a mix of foam, DIY and what not.
This was a much quicker path than DIY, and for me it was well worth it.

One notch down on quality since a couple of them had a very distinct odor. Most likely from a glue or binding chemical. But I got those replaced with non-smelly ones so no big deal.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einer Vocal-Booth die zu einem Schalldämmt noch dazu Akustisch optimal für Vocal aufnahmen ist.
Das Problem war einfach das man Absolut 0 brauchbare Infos oder Reviews zu dieser Vocal-Booth bekommt.
Also habe ich mich entschieden das ganze einfach selbst zu testen und alle anderen daran teilhaben zu lassen.

Habe das ganze dann über die Spedition liefern lassen.
Zum Glück hatte ich Unterstützung den alleine wäre das kaum zu machen gewesen.

Generell war es auch relativ schwierig das ganze aufzustellen bzw. einfach umständlich.
Gerade das man die Extender mit einem Fäustel reinschlagen muss, dabei irgendwie alles festhalten muss und darauf achten muss das nix umkippt, war ne Kunst.
Nichtsdestotrotz haben wir geschafft alles aufzubauen ohne das was kaputt ging.

Danach folgten die Test.

Ich war wirklich begeistert der raum klingt genau wie es soll also halt gar nicht. Wir haben eine Trockene aber keine tote Aufnahme.

Im großem und ganzem kann nur sagen das wir wirklich nen tolles und stabiles Gesamtpaket haben.
Umkippen wirds so schnell definitiv nicht, es klingt gut, es dämmt gut und das "einsteigen" in die Booth ist auch leicht.
Es ist auch ne schöne Sache das ein kleiner Ventilator dabei ist für Luftzirkulation in Sommertagen(Wobei dieser nicht während der Aufnahme laufen sollte)

Kleiner Negativ Punkt die Support-Bar die mir gesendet worden ist war leider Kaputt, also hat Thomann mir eine neue gesendet.
