This is the worst bloody Headphones I have ever used. The first pair of headphones I bought stopped working on the left side after just 4 weeks. Then I got a new pair who start making cracking and screaming sounds after 4 months of using. And the sound is hysterical high and damaging for your ears really bad.

I highly recommend you not to buy these shity Headphones.......

sitter bra och återger verkligen ljudet ofärgat. Mkt bra vid inspelning mixning och att bara lyssna med.

I think these are made as workhorse headphones,
they sound ok, they eliminate much of the outside noise, you can wear them for hours and if you break them to the point of no repair, well, it's 88€, you can buy another pair.

The low end is surprisingly deep and not compressed so I'm hearing things a lot clearer below 60Hz, the high end is also clear yet a bit harsh, but there is a lack of 80-200Hz and at the same time the sound is a bit boxy and hollow.

Good enough for the price, the pronounced high end helps most singers when tracking but the lack of body confuses vocalists like me that have deep voices.
Also as an engineer I can't make any proper EQ decisions with them because the mids are all over the place.

Conclusion:
Good enough sound and isolation for tracking,
for mixing good enough for checking kick-bass relationship and offensive high frequencies, so I'd use them for edits before actually mixing and as another pair of headphones to check my final mix/mastering just in case.

Ticks all the boxes

Bought these as a present for my son who wanted headphones which cut out the distraction of office chatter, allow him to listen to his music without distracting others, and comfortable to wear for long periods, and compact enough to be carried in his bag to work.
The AKG K-182 does all that. Sound isolation is impressive and the sound quality far, far in advance of anything else he has tried. They are comfortable enough for you almost forget you are wearing them, and the folding design aids portability. My son reports that the "headphones are wonderful, they block the sound of students talking perfectly", and that his colleague now wants a pair. They deliver excellent quality sound from his music stored on his Nexus6 smartphone. The only downside is that his (expensive) earbuds now sound terrible in comparison.
Delivery was prompt and the transaction up to Thomann's usual excellent standards
