You probably did not choose these by accident. I bought Metallicas first record 1983 and their first album blew me away, 35 years after I still think this is their best album. What can I say, Lars Ulrich is unique, no-one plays like Lars and in my opinion one of the top 10 most technical metal drummers ever. What separates him from the other 9 is that he will never compromise to achieve perfection.
Rest assured that he annoyed Ahead to insanity before these drum sticks met his demands.
They are light, stiff, comfortable, balanced and very responsive.

For The Price Make Sure You Want Them

Make sure you want them. They are expensive and the longer I have had them the less I have used them. Nice to have in the stick bag.
Very good quality, some marks on them but still going strong (as they should). Definitely feel different and take some getting used to but after a few days they are fine. They did feel strange on the cymbals the first time I hit them. Good for rudiments I find.

I like the sicks and it was great to try them out. there is zero vibration from the hits on the drums, so you get no vibration coming through the stick. The sound is very different for the wooden sticks making, making the toms a bit duller and the cymbals much brighter, rebound is not as good as the wooden ones. They will last a very very long time, and you can replace parts of the stick, but the longevity of the stick is worth the price

Being a Metallica fan I was expecting a great product in sound and quality. I was suprised that it exceeded my expectations.

You won't get the Metallica drum sound with just this sticks (you'll need Lars for that too :D haha) but they are rock solid and they last longer than any wooden stick I tried. The sound is fatter due to the denser core made of some kind of metal.

Really great product.
