dB Technologies es1203

I got the chance to listen to one es1203 in single column mode in a local store and was a little doubtful that 2 of them would suit my needs.
Never the less I went on and ordered 2 and the result was amazing.
Used them for the first time in a 300 m2 tent with about 150 people, at a corporate party.
Indeed in such a venue (thin wooden floor and a tall tent) the bass didn't travel very far (I'd say that beyond 10 meters away you could hear the low frequencies but could not feel them) but the mids and highs, with the steering set to far were crisp and clear. An active sub would be advised for large venues. The horizontal dispersion of the tops is also amazing.
The dance floor was flooded with sound and I was amazed that even closer to the speakers you could feel less of the bass in the floor, but more in the pressure around you.
Easy to set up, the kit is complete and nicely thought. They are a bit hefty to carry by hand but I know that will get fixed when I get the dollies (DO-ES1203).
