Bugera 333XL Infinium

Folosesc amplificatorul impreuna cu un cabinet Harley Benton G212 Vintage (Celestion V30 speakers) si o chitara Ibanez S360 modificata cu doua hambuckere DiMarzio. Folosesc setup-ul acesta de aproximativ 2 luni si la sala de repetitii si la concerte live si la inregistrari studio. Este impecabil! Sunetul e de-a dreptul impresionant. La partea de claritate si ton pot sa-i dau linistit 9.5/10.
Cu cat dau drumul la volum cu atat suna mai bine - asta este un aspect putin problematic pentru mine pentru ca desi sunt printr-un 2x12 cabinet, la sala de repetitii gasesc greu punctul de compromis intre a nu acoperi pe toata lumea si totusi a pastra tonul gras. Insa pot sa zic ca taie mix-ul intr-un mod impecabil si oriunde as canta cu acest head nu imi fac probleme ca nu o sa fiu inteles.
Este extrem de versatil ca si sunet si pot sa scot din el ton-uri de la 60's blues, la 90's hard rock si metal modern. Fiind pasionat de mai multe genuri am incercat sa scot cat mai multe tonuri si am ramas din nou surprins la cate variante pot ajunge. Canalul clean este perfect clean si are o prezenta perfect utila. Canalul de over-drive este absolut genial... pot sa-i reduc din gain pana la parametrul 3-4 si tot sa isi pastreze ton-ul gras si atacul. Iar canalul de high-gain are gain mai mult decat necesar cu o prezenta si un atac demne de invidiat. Per-total fiecare parametru este foarte sensibil transformand sunetul efectiv intr-o secunda la ceva destul de diferit.
O alte optiune care o iubesc este parametrul de prezenta care chiar isi face treaba si iti permite sa ai un control foarte fin al sunetului tau prin mix.
Fiind achizitionat recent nu am remarcat decat urmatoarele aspecte care nu pot sa le pun cu adevarat la negative, dar nici nu le pot trece la pozitive:
1. Nu exista buton de reverb pe footswitch, iar Reverb-ul se dezactiveaza la oprirea si pornirea amplificatorului. Asa ca dupa pornirea amplificatorului, trebuie setat de fiecare data pe care canal se doreste reverb-ul, iar asta va ramane memorat pana la stingerea lui; nu este cel mai calitativ reverb, insa comparabil cu restul aspectelor pozitive, nici macar nu ma intereseaza pentru ca oricum voi folosi o pedala dedicata de reverb.
2. Noise Gate-ul, la fel si el, nu este cel mai ok, insa este mai ok decat reverb-ul si de asemenea nu suge din ton. Undeva setat la parametrul 5 am vazut ca isi face treaba.
Ca o concluzie - acest amplificator este extraordinar, aspectele negative fiind complet irelevante in comparatie cu aspectele pozitive. Cu un pret de genul asta, unde la alte companii poate gaseai doar varianta combo hibrid, poti sa creezi un sunet de chitara adevarat. Insa cu atat mai mult am cantat pe foarte multe amplificatoare de la Mesa Boogie la Marshall la Engl si pot sa spun cu mana pe inima ca Bugera 333XL bate linistit multe dintre liniile acestora, unde preturile sunt de trei ori mai mari, insa pentru o comparatie detaliata de genul acesta e nevoie de o alta discutie.
Iar pe partea de calitate servicii, pret si customer care, un mare multumesc Thomann!

Excellent buy! It not only competes with but p****s all over other, a lot more expensive, amp heads on the market. The sound quality is top notch and on a full stack, riffs and lead notes soar. The only shortcoming, in my opinion, is that the pedalboard could have done with including an independent reverb pedal, hence the reason why I rated it 4 stars in the features department. Oh well, perhaps Bugera will improve on that in the not-too-distant future. Don't be put off by the fact that it's made in the Far East: most products (even those which are purported to be 'leading brands')are made in the Far East. I simply love it and I'm thinking of buying another model by this great brand. Bugera sure kicks some serious a**e and, what's more, it didn't break the bank. Great product! I'm making the following addition to my original review over three years after buying it, and after having returned the head to Thomann three times (luckily within its warranty period). Alas, the issues kept rearing their ugly heads. Although the ultimate tone and features of the amplifier are exceptional, the problems related (having to return the product, the wait, hassle involved) do not warrant buying it. In hindsight, after 5 years since purchasing it, it has been sent again to the repair shop. This time the problem seems to be the built-in relay switch connected with the footswitch. For the reasons stated above I would not recommend it.

I use this amp in my studio for reamping guitars and sometimes for band rehearsals. I also own an Engl savage 120 and I have to say that the sound coming out of Bugera is similar to that of the savage with the former having better low end response, something that was obvious when I reamped the same signal using the same setup (cabinet, mics etc). Moreover, the Bugera amp doesn't "feel" robust, many chinese parts and although the design is very good it "looks" somewhat cheap. If I had to take an amp out on the road for gigs I wouldn't take this amp, I don't think it could handle it very well, that is why it stays in the studio for reamping, and this, it does well. The power tubes are nice, but didn't like the preamp tube, but that's what a tube amp is like, you have to experiment with different tubes.It is versatile with it's 3 band EQ per channel and I like the XL switch assigned at the crunch and lead channel. For the price tag, it is a good deal, but handle it with care.
