Foarte bun
Studio NIC 08.01.2017
Raport calitate / pret excelent.
Face exact ce trebuie sa faca, este bine construit.
Sunetele interne nu sunt prea bune, dar are optiunea SD Card, asa ca folosesc exact sample-urile care imi plac.
Pad-urile raspund destul de bine, fara alte probleme.
Recomand!

Fantastic!!!!

I purchased this sample pad as an add-on for my electronic drum kit to expand the available sound at my disposal. The Alesis SamplePad did not disappoint in this regard. It has 25 on-board sounds that be arranged into eight banks of 4 (pads) each. Any sound can be assigned to any pad. The sounds cover mainly electronic-type snare and toms, percussion, cowbells and triangles/windchimes. There are no cymbals built-in but then it's not really designed for that.

Each patch can be adjusted for tune (+/- 4 semitones), level, sensitivity, pan, reverb, and midi note. The midi parameter is really useful as you can set it to send any midi note via the midi output to trigger external devices.

The built in reverb is no slouch either and it sounds very clear and present and does not have the sonic artifacts found in other cheaper reverbs I have heard.

Best of all the ability to load external samples from the built-in SD card reader. These samples can be assigned to any of the pads in any of the banks and can be tweaked with the same parameters as the on-board sounds. The only drawback to this that I can see is that the external sample playback is mono - but you can compensate for this by adjusting the pan and reverb settings.

There is an input for an external trigger such as another pad or cymbal and you can assign any sound or sample to it also. I use it with the Millenium MPS-200 cymbal pad (also from Thomann) to trigger a crash sample and it works flawlessly.

Overall, an excellent tool for any drummer who needs additional sounds on a budget.

Highly recommended and I'm very happy with it.

Good for simple things and not so good for more complex things.

If all you need is to play a few samples together with an acoustic drum kit this will fit the bill. But there is one thing so bad about this unit that it makes it pretty much useless for me. I bought it to use as a small stand alone electric drum kit and as a trigger for my Nord Drum module. The big problem is this: IT WILL NOT START PLAYBACK OF 2 SOUNDS AT THE SAME TIME. If you hit 2 pads at the exact same time only one of them will sound. This is very annoying if you use it as a kick/snare/hihat type set. Otherwise a good product. I use a snare drum stand to hold it and an external kick drum trigger. But buyers be aware of the above mentioned problem!

Provides a nice little dedicated percussion area on my e kit

Personally I prefer that rather than assigning sounds to tom rims.
The pads trigger well , but wish they were made with a little softer rubber.
Went for the sample version as worth the extra for the additional functionality.
Currently using the outputs into a mixer, rather than the midi connection to my drum module.
Not a lot of internal sounds when compared to the more expensive Alesis, Roland and Yamaha offerings but significantly cheaper, and with the SD card slot it will provide all I need.
