We bought this for recording quick, off-the-cuff podcasts and interviews and it does that job very well. The sound quality is excellent for the price, the stereo separation is really nice and not having to worry about recording levels makes it super quick and easy to use.
The old issue of RF interference in the early versions seems to have been fixed. Handling noise is perfectly reasonable for a recorder of this design.
I think we'll be using it for a lot more than quick podcasts.
Two things I don't like about it -
1, the main material it's made of looks a bit cheap and fragile. Time will tell.
2, I would have preferred a metal grille over the mics. Again it looks a bit cheap and fragile.
For the money it's a really nice, versatile recorder capable of some great-sounding results but I'd happily pay a bit more for a version made of better materials and with a metal grille.
