Bocais para flugel devem ser fundos ao contrário dos da Yamaha. Quem pretende esta medida larga, toca profissionalmente e como tal é exigente. A Cup tem uma medida pouco funda quase semelhante a um bocal de trompete 17E4e, apesar da boa Throat e Backbore. O Bach 1C para flugel é bem melhor !!!

Das Mundstück ermöglicht meiner Meinung nach einen sehr schönen, vollen und in den Höhen brillianten Sound, den ich als "klassisch" bezeichnen würde, damit meine ich aber nicht Reduzierung auf "Klassik" ganz im Gegenteil. Im Vergleich mit einem Denis Wick 2 FL rasten die Töne ab f2 sehr viel leichter ein und sind von der Intonation für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene besser zu regulieren. In der Höhe klingt es brillianter als das Wick, aber in der Tief- und Mittellage auch sehr schön dunkel-hornig. Generell erzeugt es einen schönen Flügelhornklang, der in allen Lagen nicht nach Trompete klingt. Da ich eigentlich Posaune spiele, achte ich auf einen möglichst großen Kesseldurchmesser, auch in dieser Hinsicht ist das Mundstück für mich ideal.
