Yamaha DME 24N
Digital Mixing Engine
Consumers of digital mixing engines are on the lookout for (and expecting) ever more in outstanding sound quality, even better structured and easy-on the-eye designs, the highest possible cost-effectiveness, not to mention extremely convenient user interfaces. Needless to say, ambitious solutions for professional audio systems are more in demand than ever before as programmable digital signal processors play an increasingly important role in the field. And the larger and more complex the application, the more sought after are features such as DSP components, sound quality, network compatibility and flexibility.
The DSP machine models DME64N and DME24N are Yamaha's answer to these requirements. The DME64N comes with sufficient DSP power to handle all these processes - and of course with the finest Yamaha sound quality. Advanced configurations that previously required multiple, functionally-limited units can now run comfortably on just one DME64N or DME24N.
The rear side of the DME24N has eight analog input and output Euroblock terminals (24-bit / 96 kHz), for both mic and line levels
The DME 24 has a YGDAI slot, giving the possibility to extend the I/Os to 24 in total. With the MY16-C, 16 I/Os are available to operate via CobraNet.
