Hello, drummers! Are you wondering what cymbal boom stand to buy first, but you have no idea? Well, you should check out this product! The YAMAHA CS-655A Cymbal Boom Stand comes with all the features that make YAMAHA an outstander among professionals, yet at a very affordable price, even for the beginner. This stand can be divided into four sections: the lower, which hosts three single-braced legs, the middle, which is a tubular movable section used mainly for height adjustment, the upper, which hosts a 360° adjustable round joint that connects to the last section, the boom section, which is of course the arm with the adjustable holder that hosts the cymbal itself! With an overall height-adjustment range of 79 to 162 cm, and a light-weight, easy-to-set-up design, what strikes the most about this product, being single-braced, is its stability, that matches easily that of its bigger, double-braced brothers of this same brand. Very useful and cheap

These stands are very comfortable to use. I carry my hardware bag by myself, and the weight is important.

1. they are light
2. they are adjustable, any angle you want, and any height.
3. the price is attractive, so I bought 4, and saved money from not buying more expensive stands, I spent on SS 950, and HHS 1100.

They are not good, they are excellent.

Light sturdiness for best price!

This stand is probably the best all around light weight representative. Full boom stand possibilities and Yamaha's unique construction methods and materials are joint together in this best-value product.
This stand has proven my go to option when a one-cymbal gig is present. Withstanding cymbals up to 22" with no noticeable stress whatsoever!
Boom arm can be a little shorter but we can always cut it ourselves :)
A streamlined lightweight cymbal stand that meets all expectations!

Great value for money

Well made, solid, quite light and user friendly. For the price I dont think there is anything to beat these cymbal stands. If you take decent care of your gear, i.e dont over tighten various parts, then these should last a long long time.

I gig regularly with these and they show now sign of damage/ wearing.
