A great first dive into a Kalimba

I have never had a Kalimba before and I love it very much!

The build is good and I love the sound (but I am no expert on this, since it is my first time owning such an instrument). It really is a soothing instrument to play, but it needs a little time to practice.

It comes with a hard case, which is perfect for carrying around, a tuning hammer, and 2 rubber "thingies" to put on your fingers (still need to figure out how to use those).

It has a sound hole on the front and two smaller ones in the back, so I still need to learn how to utilize those.

Overall, very satisfied with my purchase.

die kalimba ist - anders als sonst - in C-Dur gestimmt. Man kann also damit Pop-, Folk-, etc. Melodien spielen. Auch Akkordbegleitung ist kein Problem. Das Teil klingt brillant, aber nicht "billig" klirrend. Die Töne sind schön definiert und nicht muffig. Man kann mit einem mit gelieferten Hämmerchen nachstimmen. Und ein kleines Case ist auch dabei. Was will man mehr?

Mooie handzame kalimba met verrassend warme klank voor het formaat. de kleine uitsparingen links en rechts voegen zeker toe in speelgemak. De afwerking is dik in orde met mooie en degelijke reistas. Dit is ook een mooi en origineel instrument om kado te geven.
