It does it's job, but come on
José Meira 11.09.2020
I was hoping something a little more well done from thomann... It does it's job, it's really sturdy, your mixer will not get damaged with the usual normal to kinda rough handling, but the pads (luckily the ones that are just filling the box and not there to provide much protection) were all detached from the case. I use it to take my xenyx 2442 usb to gigs and rehearsals and it works fine. Overall it's a good case, just hoped thomann would be more careful.

Not the most hardy case around but does the job
Connor Josef 03.03.2022
Don't expect a really rugged flightcase, this is more suited for light transport. I use a Xenyx 2442 mixer as a back up mixer in case my digital one goes down, so I just keep it in this flightcase in the van for if I ever need it. I wouldn't use this for daily hauling in an out of the van, unless you're very gentle with your gear. But for the price, it's good value and will keep your mixer safe

Solid case
howardjworf@aol.com 26.12.2022
I bought this to protect my 2442 in transit (obviously). It’s a very substantial well padded box that does the job. There is decent sized storage space at the rear in which I keep the power lead and two 15m Pro Snake XLR cables to run to the speakers, and with the mixer in the box there is also some storage space available underneath for odd small items. I keep a bluetooth adaptor and some short connecting cables there.
Just three things to note. Firstly the foam pad at the front is a little too thick and stops the mixer from sitting flush on the side supports on its 19 inch rack rails. Secondly there is no access to the rear of the mixer with it in the case but it is best to remove the mixer anyway to avoid it overheating. Thirdly the lid is on fixed hinges, so I take the mixer out and put on the box when in use.
To conclude, I am happy with the case, and can recommend it as a useful purchase to take good care of your 2442 mixer. With the weight of the case and the mixer you'll get a good workout.

good case for occasional use
Howard T. 29.10.2017
I bought this for protecting a 16 channel (2442) behringer mixer that I have in stock, mainly as a back up. the intent was to protect it while it was moved occasionally and while on the shelf. to that end, the case is fine - i's not however robust and you shouldn't confuse it with a proper flight case. If what you want is occasional use and protection then this is the case...if you want something heavy duty to take reeated bashing then you need to look for something else at a higher price pint, the panels are not as substantial as standard ply or astroboard and the catches are easy to mis align and no where near as robust as a butterfly catch - but then one needs to remember that this case is half the cost. for occasional use or careful repeated use it's fine.
