Freedom but Connection Caution!
Anónimo 16.11.2015
I received this excellent piece of kit, dutifully read the manual, and connected everything up and tried it out. It worked fine, until the 3.5 mm jack, which I had simply pushed in, pulled out of the bodypack. I pushed it back in firmly and got an intermittent signal. "Oh no, it will have to go back since it is clearly faulty" I told my band mates.

Fortunately, I then read the following by Arthur6176 who wrote a review called 'Just what I need' on 24.02.2015, in which he says, "The jack to the transmitter from the guitar is screw in so no chance of accidentally pulling it out"

What?

Oh yes, I had noticed a few tiny threads at the base of the 3.5 mm plug.

Sure enough, you have to push fit the plug as far as the threads, then screw the plug into the bodypack. This is great for making a secure connection, but is not at all obvious or standard.

There is nothing in the product description online, or indeed in the TWS One Guitar UHF Wireless System User Manual, to point out that the 3.5 mm jack connection into the bodypack is SCREW IN !!!

Thomman, please state it in the product description, or better still include a cover note with the product advising and warning buyers about how to make a proper connection.

Now, for the rest of the review. As others have said the signal is completely clean, and gives the freedom from being 'tethered' to an amp and effects boxes that every guitarist deserves. No more tripping when you need to talk to the drummer, singer, or dance about as you wander around the rehearsal room or stage.

The batteries that came with it only lasted an hour or so, but I changed them for 'drumming bunny' ones and then played for over 20 hours over three days with no sign of lack of power yet.

The price is extraordinary.

If you value your freedom, buy this now!

Flexibility for a fair price
ReapR 25.11.2019
I bougth this wireless system for live shows as wiring myself wasn't comfortable.
For this price i'm really satisfied as i were able to run around , jump up and down, turn over and so on.. you know, basic metal things to do.

Pros:
-The distance is really great. I tried it at our rehearsel room and on an a gamer event as well (where we had a small gig). I were able to walk 30 meters away without having any latency or distortion in the sound. (Even between 300 PCs and lot of networking electrics it was clear)
- Just plug in, attach, turn on, and there you go.
- a really good decision if you want to try wireless system, you aren't pro and you don't want to spend your money on a line6 for start.

Cons:
- batteries.. i always change batteries before a show.
- cable: the original jack cable is really thin. I try to protect it as much as i can. The 3,5 jack is special as it have a screw-in part to the transmitter. (But i think, if you know how to re-wire it , you can change the cable to a better one if it's get broken)

To sum it up:
i didn't regret this product. I enjoy the freedom and quality it gives, so we will have a great time together ;)

Wireless awesomeness
Anónimo 15.08.2014
Sick of all that cable tangle i really was in need of a wireless solution for playing my guitar without pulling out the cable accidentally while jumping around. Playing Heavy Metal doesn't seem to be compatible with any cables at all.

Because of the small price i decided to try the t.bone tws one wireless-system. Although my expectation was as low as the the price i didn't regret the purchase. The system works fine. Very easy installation and a very well connection. The Sound quality is good and powerful. No output delay and a wide range. No signal-dropouts by now, very important for live performances.

Okay, to be honest the case is very cheap plastic and the battery needs to be replaced just after few hours. So it's not perfect, but very close to it.

it's ok
bananalopa 02.03.2021
pros:
It's analog, so no delay at all
I didn't have any troubles with loosing signal, interference etc. It's because it works in the 900mhz instead of overcrouded 2.4ghz
really cheap
receiver's cable is easy to replace
cons:
it compresses sound pretty heavy, you'll lose some dynamic and highs
when battery is low it starts distort sound a little. I would prefer powering off sooner instead
receiver's cable it's robust

conclusion: if loosing some dynamic is ok for you it's a very good choice

great sound but does not last long
Anónimo 18.02.2016
this has been very helpful for me as it produces a great clear sound with lots of power. as handy for the price it is, it does not last extremely long as it started to give a sort of fuzzy sound in the amp after about a year and eventually blared a nasty fuzzy sound and couldn't hear my own instrument (bass guitar).
luckily i don't play very often and only play in front of small crowds and is good when you want to move around the stage and has a good range.
other than that it is a very good wireless system for what is worth especially if your stuck but not so good in the long run.
i wold reccomend this for people who need a temporary replacement or for beginners.

Just what I need
Arthur6176 24.02.2015
The T Bone TWS One D does its job perfectly, I don't here any noise other than the guitar strings, has a long range more than I would ever use, it is quick and easy to set up with fool proof instructions,

The jack to the transmitter from the guitar is screw in so no chance of accidentally pulling it out, I use a digital delay pedal between the receiver and amp and it works perfectly,

It all comes in a neat case, and Thomann put a UK adapter in with the delivery free of charge, and it's a better adapter than I could buy in the UK,

For the price a great buy, without a doubt,

I hate guitar cables
Anónimo 25.03.2017
Before reading the rest of my review, read the head ten more times so we are in the same mental playing field ;)

I always thought of guitar cables as one of those bad habits you see in your love partner... you hate it, but you can't live without your partner so you put up with it.

See where I'm going with this?

I've tried long long cables, short cables, light weight cables, "quality" cables and even those damn cables that come with the old style telephone wire!
Hated every last one of them... but I put up with it because I love the guitar and sometimes you just have to put the acoustic down and plug in to let the rock god monster thats lurking in your soul take a stroll in the audible universe!

Reading the other reviews I was a bit skeptical, I have been burned in the past by reviews... but with hope in my heart and unicorns on my brain I added this to my shopping cart and waited...

A few days later it arrived, so simple that like a typical man I never read the leaflet but simply plugged in and "checked it out".

...

...

...

...

No more dirty #&(/%W#&G guitar cables for me!!!! I'm freeeeeee!

Get it, at this price it's a steal! Will update this review if things change ;)

amazing
Anónimo 13.07.2015
i was talking to a friend about wireless guitar systems and he said he uses his to go out into the crowd when gigging and its great fun. So i decided that i would get one but i didnt want to go into crazy prices so i looked them up on lowest price on the search bar and i saw this one. At first i was a bit worried for 49 quid that it would be not as good as one for 100 quid but i have to say well done thomann you have made an amazing product for such a good product and it is amazing. I gave a good testing and it worked to 50 metres and probably more thats as far as i could go. But this product is amazing and i would hesitate to reccomend it to anyone. i absaloutely love it. thanks for reading

No need to pay out too much
Anónimo 07.02.2017
Works really well i used this for a couple of open air gigs. If you're on a budget and don't care so much about using big brand stuff then get this. Seriously its really good and it has a fairly long enough range for a large stage.

It works, but sound is lost
Vuk77 10.02.2018
This is my second wireless unit after Shure some 15 years ago. Sound is similar, but .the latency on Tbone is almost non-existant which is a big plus. However the sound is still way too compressed. The lows, mids and highs are compressed, especially highs are lost. Dynamics are gone, sounds like playing through a bad compressor pedal. All the fine touches and nuances that make music great are lost in playing. I will keep this as it may come handy for venues where sound quality isn't very important or better still where the crowd has no idea what they're listening to and what things should sound like. I don't think I will have a go with another wireless unit from a different company. I am pretty sure all wireless units suffer the same problems; loss of sound and more importantly dynamics and articulation. If you play in a heavy metal band then you probably won't even notice any change.
