very nice small speakers

I am using these as small speakers for my house, very practical and easy to use (the balanced and unbalanced inputs are nice to have plus the ability to link other speakers is useful). Very well built and durable (and also pretty) I can take them out and not have to worry about them getting banged up. Adding a small subwoofer makes these perfect for small rooms of venues.

Good value small speaker

I use it for additional fills in larger spaces, works well on the K&M260 stand, but make sure you get the 5kg one, not the smaller 260/1 stand as this isn't stable!

Plenty of volume, a little muddy in the bass, but it's great for what it is.

Günstige HOLZ-Box

Die 204A ist eine Holz-Box mit netten Features. Ich nutze sie für Sprachbeschallungen, Playback-Musik drinnen und draußen, und als Near/Infill auf Bühnenkanten.

Die 204A spielt dabei ihre Stärken Größe (kompakt), XLR-Ein und Ausgänge und Aufbau aus Holz (nicht so unschön futuristisch wie die Plastiklautsprecher dieser Preisklasse) aus. Durch das unauffällige Aussehen kann man sie auch für schickere Events nutzen. Für alles, was nicht wahnsinnig viel Pegel oder normal viel Bass braucht, ist die Box daher tauglich. Genug Stabilität, um sie auch mal auf Bühnenkanten zu legen, hat sie auch.

Natürlich ist der Klang der Preisklasse entsprechend - wer was wirklich hochwertiges braucht, muss mehr auf den Tisch legen. Mit etwas Erfahrung am EQ kann man aber aus der 204A noch etwas rauskitzeln.

Signaltechnisch sollte klar sein, dass aus 2x4" nicht viel Bass rauskommt. Weiterhin muss man auch ordentlich Pegel auf die Box geben, damit was rauskommt; ist aber nichts, was Mischpult- oder Controllerausgänge nicht könnten heutzutage. Den Cincheingang hätte man sich (nicht nur wegen dem hohen Pegel, den man braucht), auch sparen können, aber naja, stören tut er nicht.

Ich persönlich würde bei dieser Box nicht die passive Variante empfehlen; aktiv sind Amp und Lautsprecher definitiv gut auf einander abgestimmt, und bei den genannten Einsatzfeldern ist die Stromversorgung kein Problem. Aber das mag jeder für sich selbst entscheiden.

Insgesamt spreche ich eine klare Kaufempfehlung für diesen Lautsprecher aus, für die, die in der Kategorie suchen und sich des Einsatzfeldes bewusst sind.

Je les utilise comme front fill pour de petit spectacle, je route uniquement la voix dedans, mais un EQ s'impose pour un meilleur rendement. Mais vraiment surpris en bien !
