Good for the price

It helped a lot with my performance as I have to sing and play lead guitar , I don’t like to stand on the same spot behind a microphone stand while performing on stage so I had to buy a head set to give me total freedom and now I can sing wherever I am on the stage.
I’ve bought the PGA31 for a trial before investing in a most expensive headset and after almost a year doing gigs/rehearsals almost every day it still works great.
You need to find the very sweet spot on the EQ and the position in front of your mouth to sound good , sometimes with the sweat it moves a little but is not a big issue.
Totally worth the price.

Das Headset soll in unserem mittelalterlichen Verein zur Show- und Zwischenmoderation genutzt werden.

Dass ich bereits eine Funkstrecke von Shure besitze hat die Auswahl natürlich beeinflusst; die letztendliche Entscheidung für dieses Headset viel aber aus anderen Gründen:

1. Meine Freundin nutzt das SM31 FH, das einen ähnlichen Bügel hat, bei ihren Tanzkursen. Deswegen weiß ich, dass es auch bei viel und schneller Bewegung sicher am Kopf sitzt. Dafür drückt es etwas mehr am Kopf als Ohrbügel-Headsets, ab als zu stark empfinde ich es auch nicht.
2. Es macht im Vergleich zu anderen Headsets einen ziemlich stabilen Eindruck. Ein, für uns, SEHR wichtiger Punkt, da es im Zweifelsfall: schnelle Trägerwechsel, lieblose Behandlung, schlechtes Wetter, Lagerung draußen / im Zelt und evtl. Schaukämpfe überstehen muss.
3. Für die genannten Punkte ist es immernoch angenehm günstig.

Die Soundqualität ist gut. Da sind uns die anderen Punkte zwar wichtiger, aber es ist schon schön, klar und verständlich beim Publikum anzukommen.

Es ist natürlich klobiger und auffälliger als die dezenten Ohrbügel-Headsets; wenn die Stimme verstärkt wird, wissen die Leute aber sowieso, das da irgendwo ein Mikro baumelt und von den Unauffälligen bräuchte man dann Zwei: Eins ins Beige und eins in Schwarz. Hautfarbende Headsets leuchten nämlich unheimlich hell vor dunklen Bärten. ;-) Außerdem wäre die bei uns wahrscheinlich eh viel schneller hin.

Normale Atemgeräusche halten sich bei richtiger Positionierung stark in Grenzen. Kräftiger Atem wird natürlich übertragen, aber, nun ja ...
ohne richtiges Geschnaufe wäre ein Schaukampf doch langweilig, oder? ;-)

Die Verarbeitung ist solide und der Tragekomfort ist ok. Dennoch kann ich keine vollständige Bewertung treffen, da das Mikro nicht funktioniert. Geht zur Reparatur zurück. Ärgerlich, kommt aber halt mal vor.
