I'm a fan of this pickup. It sounds so nice and it is cheap compared to other expensive brands.
I heard it from Robin Finck and I decided to try it: works like a charm and in combination with an APH-1N it's killer!

After some research I decided to go for this one for my epi sg. Still have to try it live really loud :P but it went really well with my rig as I recorded a demo to check it.
It has less distortion than other SD pups but more "body"
Some people are reluctant to get it because of it being kind of scoopy, others find it perfect, especially for SGs
with an mxr phase 90 and a nano big muff pi
