Almost as good ad the Neumann KM184

Bought these for general purpose studio work.

The are excellent on Acoustic Guitar, Overheads, Even vocals.

On several occasions we have preferred these to the Nuemann KM 184, which says a lot.

They sounds fabulous and set well in the mix, providing a sound that responds to EQ when needed.

Overall a great microphone choice and a bargain at the price.

The Rode warranty is also very good, but I never needed it.

Das Rode NT 55 ist vor allem als Stützmikrofon gut geeignet. Natürlich hört man im direkten Vergleich zu anderen wesentlich teureren Mikrofonen kleine Unterschiede, sowohl im Klang als auch im Rauschverhalten, diese sind aber je nach Einsatzort vernachlässigbar. Die Möglichkeit einfach die Richtcharakteristik von Niere auf Kugel zu ändern ist hervorragend.

Die mitgelieferte Mikrofonklammer ist etwas klobig. Die Verpackung ist dem Preis entsprechend sparsam und nicht mit den Holzkästchen anderer Hersteller zu vergleichen.

Die Rode NT55 sind von der Produktbeschreibung das absolute Understatement. Ihr Klang ist sehr natürlich, die Ausstattung ist super. Sie eignen sich hervorragend als Overhead bei Schlagzeugaufnahmen. ABer auch Gitarren, Celli und Klarinetten kann man damit wunderbar recorden. Ein echtes Arbeitspferd.
