Have been using one of these for two years, and it has yet to fail me, even after exposing it to some harsh conditions, such as damp or dusty filming locations. Sound-wise I haven't spotted any difference between this one and more expensive mic cables. Overall a quality and reliable product.

Ich verwende seit längerer Zeit verschiedene Thomann-Kabel, sei es the.sssnake oder pro snake in verschiedenen Konfektionen. Die Kabel sind i.d.R. nicht fest verlegt, sondern werden immer mal wieder transportiert, also viel ein- und ausgepackt und sind häufiger in Bewegung. Bislang habe ich keinerlei Probleme mit Kabelbrücken oder ähnlichen Ausfallerscheinungen.
Allerdings behandle ich die Kabel auch stets sehr sorgsam. D.h. auf der Bühne oder im Proberaum kann durchaus schon mal draufgetreten werden, aber es wird immer drauf geachtet, dass die Kabel nicht über irgend welche Kanten laufen, an denen starke Scherkräfte auftreten könnten, wenn man mal drauftritt. Zuguterletzt - und das halte ich für elementar - werden die Kabel grundsätzlich sorgsam, ihrer eigenen Wicklung folgend zusammengelegt. Wenn ich jemanden erwische, der eines meiner Kabel mal eben flott achtlos über Hand und Ellbogen wickelt, werde ich sauer. Manchen ist wirklich nicht bewusst, was sie ihren Kabeln damit antun.
Wenn man sie aber sorgsam behandelt, hat man - auch im Proberaum- und Bühnenalltag - meiner Erfahrung nach lange Freude an diesen Kabeln. Das macht sie alles in allem sehr preiswert.

Das Rot dieses Kabels ist eher gedeckt, also nicht so schreiend. Also - hinreichend gute Signalfarbe, ohne aber zu sehr ins Auge zu stechen.
