Family fun

I'm not a percussionist, I've got this bongo because my family was coming, and my younger sister plays guitar and some percussion while my 2 nephews play a bit of guitar (older) and drums (younger). So, it was basically to make some noise with family. It is good enough to make some noise. I'm not a professional to say it would be good on stage, but my guts say it's good for family fun/learning only.

Ich habe mir das Instrument als Schlagzeuger gekauft, der auch einmal in Percussion "hineinschnuppern" möchte. Wenn man die Cajon mit Snaresound spielen will, so empfiehlt es sich, die Snares nach etwa einem Drittel der Länge mit Klebeband zu fixieren, da sie sonst zu stark nachrascheln. Das könnte daran legen, dass die Snares bei meinem Instrument vielfach gegeneinander verdreht waren und teilweise keinen Kontakt mit dem Holz, sondern nur mit anderen Snares hatten. Bei dem Versuch, sie zu entwirren, mußte ich feststellen, dass eine spitze Metallklammer aus dem Holz, dass die beiden Klangkammern trennt, herausragte. Wenn man einen eher typischen Bongo-Sound erreichen möchte, kann man ein Stück Filz zwischen Snares und Holz legen. Der Klang ist durchaus akzeptabel, wenn man berücksichtigt, dass man bei dem günstigen Preis natürlich kein Holz von erster Qualität erwarten darf. Mit etwas Übung und der richtigen Spieltechnik kann man klanglich sicher noch mehr herausholen.

Très bon produit, pour un prix dérisoire. A reconnander pour une initiation au percus ou pour ceux qui cherchent des sonorités atypiques. Ça sonne bien, on peut moduler la puissance et monter asser haut en terme de volume.
