It works but driver is troublesome to find

This worked well on my MacBook Air once I had found the correct driver on the web, but this was not easy, because the one found through the Lindy site is wrong, out of date and doesn't work with OS 10.15! The trick is you have to work out that the ethernet bit inside it is not made by Lindy, it is called an Asix AX88179, and when you find the Asix website, you can eventually, on a poorly-organised site, find a driver that works! So basically the problem is bad information from Lindy.

Ce Hub vous offre trois ports USB, ce qui peut s'avérer très pratique en déplacement avec les macbook 2015 - 2017 d'autant plus que le port RJ45 vous permettra de vous mettre sur un réseau EtherSound /Dante/Madi etc sans avoir à acheter l'adapteur Thunder/RJ45 de chez Apple qui coute autrement plus chère. Bref, simple, pratique et efficace pour moins de 30 euros.

Good, but

Nifty little thing to extend the single USB3 port on my Surface Pro. The plan was to use the ethernet port in my Dante network, but sadly it seems that protocol isn't compatible with USB/Ethernet adapters. A big shame as now I have to buy that ugly Surface dock to make it work. I'll keep this one as it is a way more portable solution than the Dock, when I don't need Dante compatibility.

Not entirelly sure how long it will last, it's plasticky and the cable feels a bit stiff. We'll see. At least it was cheap.
